How Mendy handles your data

Mendy is an AI troubleshooting assistant backed by a human technician. It is not an automatic diagnosis or an emergency service.

Your conversations

The chat shown in your history is stored in your browser. Mendy does not keep the full conversation for later review unless you explicitly turn on the review checkbox for that conversation. Basic usage information may still be counted so the service can operate and detect abuse.

Your device profile

Your optional device profile stays in your browser. It is sent with a question so you do not have to repeat those details, but it is not added to stored review transcripts.

AI providers and people

Your question is processed by the services needed to generate Mendy's response. If you ask for a human follow-up, you choose to share the conversation with the technician.

Your controls

You can clear local chat history and your saved device profile from the app. You can leave transcript review off and still use Mendy. For account or deletion questions, contact Unbreaking through the support details on its website.
